Prism Group disaster management

Are there any take-home points that you got from this experience for Prism Die Casting & Prism Engineering?
Yes, I was inspired by the customer’s workshop and showroom, the order they work with, their systems, and their housekeeping. I now see what we are working towards achieving and understand that it is very possible if we continuously try to improve. I learnt the importance of planning. We need to look at customer order trends to anticipate monthly orders and plan ahead to ensure we meet their requirements on time. It was inspiring to see the final product because often we don’t know what the end product looks like.
Do you have any words of encouragement for the Prism team?
Yes, always work on doing better, be more enthusiastic and inquisitive because people do want to teach you, but you also need to show interest that you do want to learn.
Message from Prism to our team:
“Team, opportunities like this can be afforded to each and every one of you if you work hard, work with sincerity, show interest and desire to learn and grow.”
Prism Group’s Skills Development Arm
Prism Group interviewed an employee who is currently being upskilled to a supervisory position. Prism Group had the privilege of affording him the opportunity to fly for the very first time in his first visit to JHB, during which he engaged with a corporate client alongside his Division Manager - March 2024.
Tell us about your travel experience
The travel experience was just amazing because it was my first time being on a flight and first time travelling to JHB. I enjoyed every minute of it. I was a bit nervous at first, but the reception people gave us made me feel comfortable.
